In 1997 Edwin Binfon founded OFFICE PRO Group in order "to acquire, develop and provide quality Computer Literacy Training, as well as provide Documentation and Telecommunication Services to the public".
With its headquarters in Kumbo, Cameroon, OFFICE PRO brings Computer Literacy awareness to the area, and also offers some employment opportunities. Located strategically at the Kumbo Squares it can serve both the local residents and travelers. Internet presence is bound to expand our clientele. Over 300 students have been trained at OFFICE PRO, bringing "the rest of the world to Kumbo". "The African needs to have control of the local market (African) before trying to grasp the foreign market. Unfortunately, the lack of expertise in entrepreneurship and the natural forces against the local entrepreneur present serious drawbacks in the cultural industry that need to be redressed otherwise apart from depending on the market forces."
