Editor of Elle Oriental, Désirée Sadek, has created a buzz within the Beirut media with the launch of the Middle East edition of the famous fashion magazine, owned by the French media group Lagardère SCA. Published out of Lebanon, the monthly Arabic-language version of Elle magazine hopes to raise the bar for magazines targeting Arab women.
